Carolyn Babs Roust, originally from Boston, graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduation, Carolyn traveled across India and trekked through the Himalayas. This trip was the first of what has become a life-long dedication to discovering and appreciating different cultures across the globe.

Carolyn is interested in metaphysical studies and, among other endeavors, has spent extended time at the Kripalu Institute studying yoga and shamanic arts.

Carolyn incorporates all of her experiences and interests into her distinctive style, which evokes the inherent beauty of the world and the thrill of cosmic discovery. The lightness of her whimsical images belie the seriousness of the world messages they portray. Through her work Carolyn talks for the earth, for global issues and for humanity in general.
